Build Desire vs Selling.

Build Desire vs Selling.

You're not just 💰 selling a product or service, you're building desire—so much so that the sale is practically done before you even ask for it.

That’s the difference between just hashtag#selling and hashtag#creating something that people can’t wait to get their hands on.

Think about it, when was the last time you walked into an Apple store and had someone aggressively selling you a MacBook Pro? Never, right?

The people in Apple stores are order-takers, not pushy sales people. Apple has mastered the art of creating desire by producing exceptional products that solve real problems in elegant ways.

They've built such a strong reputation that people literally line up to buy their products, even at premium prices.

As marketers, this is the level of desire we should be striving to create. Our job isn’t just to sell; it's to articulate pain points, agitate them, and then present our solution as something unique, exciting, and irresistible.

When people aren’t eagerly handing over their money, it’s a sign that we haven’t built enough desire or our marketing isn’t effective enough.

So, before you worry about closing that next sale, ask yourself: Have I built enough desire? Have I made my offer something that people are excited about? The hook is worth more than anything.

If you can build that desire, the sales will follow naturally.

Remember, marketing’s ultimate goal is to make sales redundant.

Build so much desire that people are already sold before you even ask.
